Qualifications for a Habitat House
1. Live in Winchester-Frederick for at least one year.2. Need to improve current housing situation (poor plumbing, heating, overcrowding, can't afford)
3. Earn between 30-60% of the median income.
4. Be willing to partner with Habitat by completing sweat equity.

- Call Habitat at (540) 662-7066 for a pre-application screening and an application will be mailed to you. You may also schedule an appointment for assistance.
- Provide Credit Report. You can obtain combined reports from Transunion, Experian and Equifax with credit score. A free copy of your credit report at www.annualcreditreport.com or by calling 1-877-322-8228.
- Provide names and addresses of three people that can provide a statement about you.
- Provide proof of income by submitting copies of pay stubs, SSI or Disability statement.
